Do you ever need an easy but yummy dip recipe? I've got you covered with this chili dip that we use all the time! It's definitely a crowd pleaser.
Here in Colorado we like to spice up our chili with jalapenos, add a little sour cream and use corn tortillas. So what better way to put all those together than with a dip?
To make this dip fast, affordable and easy, I like to use HORMEL Chili No Beans. I keep a few cans in my pantry at all times because you never know when a dip craving will strike.
How to make my Chili Dip With A Kick!
Ingredients:
-1 can of HORMEL Chili No Beans (print a coupon HERE)
-1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
-1 cup of fresh grated cheddar cheese
-jalapenos
-sour cream
Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat up the chili for approximately 5 minutes. Add in the cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese melts completely. While it's melting chop up some jalapenos. Add it to the saucepan along with a couple tablespoons of the jalapeno juice. Stir all together. Now place the chili mixture into a microwave safe bowl. Sprinkle all the cheese on top then add some sliced jalapenos on top. Place in microwave to cook for 30 seconds. Keep doing 30 seconds intervals until the cheese is melted. Add a big dollop of sour cream on top for garnish. Serve with corn tortilla chips and enjoy!
