Finished Quilt Top

So a couple weeks ago I decided to take a quilting class at a local quilt shop. I've been sewing since I was 16 years old but I am all self taught. I have made things here and there but I never know if I am actually doing it correctly so I signed myself up to make a quilt.

It was 4 hours of learning, doing, laughing, eating and generally having a good time.  I didn't know a single person when I signed up but I am so glad I did it and will most likely do another class in the future.

I did all of the cutting and a little sewing in the class but I ultimately finished the quilt top at home and I am really happy with how it turned out.

Isn't it pretty!

I am making it for myself and just love all the colors. I still need to pick out the rest of the fabric for the back and then I will show you when it's all finished!
