Pumpkin Painting

Welcome! I wanted to share a fun family activity for Halloween.

I got the awesome idea to paint our pumpkins from Meg here.  We normally wait to buy our pumpkins a few days before Halloween because when we carve them, they obviously don't last very long.  Also, little hands can't use a carving tool so paint is so much better!  The pumpkins last much longer and are super pretty and unique.

Parker painted his first. He had to test out the paint brush to make sure it would do the job.
Parker had such a good time painting.  He kept flashing me a goofy grin.

Hudson said he painted himself.  Don't really see it but I will take his word for it.  ;)

I even got in on the painting! Very therapeutic.

Parker loved his pumpkin so much that I wanted to take a picture of him with it.  Then this happened...
I seriously chuckled when I saw this pic on my camera.  I was trying to catch the pumpkin when I snapped it.

No pumpkin was harmed in the making of this.
