Bridal Shower Gift: A Cookbook

Let me first start off by telling you that my mom made this.   She made about 30 actually.  For my bridal shower almost 5 years ago she decided she wanted to do something a little different that everyone could be part of.  Something to remember this day by.  She decided that with the help of our family and my friends, we would make a cookbook. Our cookbook.

First, in the bridal shower invitation, she asked each guest to email her 1-3 of their favorite recipes.  She typed each one out, cut it to size and headed to Staples with a huge stack of paper.  There, they laminated the front cover and put it together for her.  She picked them up and we added the cut pieces of ribbon to it to give a little more character.  I absolutely loved it and still do to this day.

  3. My family has a cookbook that is given to every woman in our family when they get married. Unfortunately, it's not usually as cute as this one.
