Family Night at Medieval Times

My husband and I have been talking about taking the boys to Medieval Times in Buena Park for a fun dinner and a show.  All three of my boys of have never been there and I have only been during the summer for their educational show when I worked in daycare.  We think they are both at a perfect age where they will sit and really enjoy it.   When I got an email from Medieval Times asking us to be their guest, I was beyond thrilled. 

Once you arrive, you are given the color of the knight you will be cheering for.  We were all about the blue knight (which happens to be Parker's favorite color).   We bought the boys each a sword and shield and headed to our seat.  The arena set up is perfect because there really is no bad seat in the house.

Right when the show starts, your waiter starts to bring out the food.  The best part?  There are no utensils so you eat with your hands!  We got tomato soup, garlic bread, chicken, a rib, a potato and a pastry.  It was all so yummy.  They even offer a vegetarian option.

The boys were in awe the whole show.  Their favorite part was of course the jousting between the knights and the sword fights.  They just couldn't believe they were fighting with real weapons!  :)

To top off our great night, our blue knight won the tournament!  The boys went wild with excitement and talked about it the entire way home.  To tell you the truth, my husband liked it so much too that he wants to go there for his 36th birthday next year (ha!).
