Fast forward 5 years later, we take our time, we finally got around to it. We needed to get a new TV and my husband was set on hanging it on the wall. I had found this picture on Pinterest and asked my husband if he liked it. He said yes so I asked my best friend's husband, Corrie, if he could not only help us fill in the TV hole, but make the built in shelves.
It took one day to fill in the hole and another day to build the shelves and it looks awesome! Corrie did an amazing job and we could not be happier or more appreciative of his hard work!
I didn't technically take a before picture, I had to go through the pictures on my phone to find the best one to show you how our wall looked before.

Now it's time to go shopping for stuff to put on those shelves!
