Our Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day at our house is never over the top.  We like to keep it simple.  Valentine's Day is a little cheesy but at least it makes you stop and show the people closest to you that really care about them.

After picking up Hudson from Preschool he had to check out all the loot he got from his school party.  He got tons of stuff for only having 9 kids in his class.  He asked me to read who gave him each card which was really cute.  Then I made the boys a special lunch (didn't have enough time in the morning).  I made them sprinkle pancakes in the shapes of hearts.  Hudson thought that was pretty cool.  Then Parker showed me how much he loved me by making me his own monkey gym.

I made the boys chocolate covered strawberries (yum!) and had to resist eating them.  Man they turned out so yummy.  Hudson ate 4!  Sean brought me home some beautiful tulips.  I made everyone an awesome dinner, if I do say so myself, that I was really proud of.

When the boys went to bed, Sean and I watched The New Girl.  I'm happy to say that Sean finds it funny so I have another show that I can watch with him.  Parker was absolutely exhausted by the day.  Showing people how much you love them can really make you tired!
